Our Story

Davis EnglishSenior Vice President of Guest Experience

Raised near the sunny foothills of Colorado’s Front Range, Davis developed a love for nature early on. The mountains at his doorstep sparked a lifelong passion for the outdoors. On a childhood trip to his family's cabin in northern Minnesota, his grandfather pointed out a wolf in the woods—a first “notable” wildlife sighting that still sticks with him. At age 10, he traveled to Canberra, Australia, as an exchange student, and his curiosity about the world has only grown since.

Davis attended Colorado State University, earning a BA in journalism and media studies with a minor in business administration. He was a DJ at the campus radio station, wrote a column for the student newspaper and took as many entomology electives as he could fit. After a stint at a Portland marketing agency, Davis returned to Colorado and worked in marketing, web development and video production—always with his sights set on Natural Habitat Adventures.

Part of the Nat Hab team since 2018, Davis feels at home in a role that aligns with his values and passions. In his free time, he enjoys reading, skiing, hiking, woodworking, playing piano and spending time with loved ones. His travel experiences with Natural Habitat Adventures and National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions include Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Canada, Mexico, Galapagos, Alaska, Costa Rica, Panama, Antarctica, French Polynesia, Iceland and Greenland—so far.
