Physical Requirements
At Nat Hab, we provide access to some of the most wondrous nature encounters the world has to offer. Many take place in destinations that are wild and remote, with varying physical demands and limited medical facilities. All trips may not be suitable for every traveler. In order to participate in this itinerary, travelers must comfortably and reliably be able to execute all physical requirements as noted below.

The itinerary follows an easy pace, with two to three off-ship excursions per day

Early mornings
Travelers must be able to walk at least 1.5 miles unassisted along uneven terrain and should expect to walk a total of 1-2 miles on several days
Walks range from 1-2 miles; travelers should expect 2-3 hours of physical activity daily in high humidity
Most walks and excursions are at a leisurely pace with guided interpretation
Terrain includes uneven ground that can be dense, wet, and slippery
Travelers must be able to step in and out of motorized skiffs
Two commercial flights
Travel by charter bus to and from the ship
Motorized skiffs for excursions
Not appropriate for travelers using wheelchairs or walkers
Travelers must be able to navigate stairs comfortably on their own
High humidity with consistent temps in the 80s–90s°F
Rain possible year-round, especially in January and February
