Physical Requirements
At Nat Hab, we provide access to some of the most wondrous nature and cultural encounters the world has to offer. Many take place in destinations that are wild and remote, with varying physical demands and limited medical facilities. All trips may not be suitable for every traveler. In order to participate in this itinerary, travelers must comfortably and reliably be able to execute all physical requirements as noted below.

Travelers must be able to walk at least 2 miles unassisted along a variety of terrain, including uneven surfaces
Travelers should expect to walk a total of 1-3 miles per day, with most activities adjustable in length
Walks are at a leisurely pace with guided interpretation
Terrain is mostly cobblestone or dirt paths, with some hills
Travel by sprinter van or small bus
Transport is mostly on paved, often winding roads, with some well-maintained dirt roads
Not appropriate for travelers using wheelchairs or walkers
Alternate transportation can be provided to guests who wish to skip longer walks
Daytime temps range from mid 70s °F in May to high 80s in July and August
Overnight temps are cooler but generally mild
Rain is possible throughout the year and daily showers are to be expected on autumn departures
Elevation ranges from 164 to 1985 feet
