Physical Requirements
At Nat Hab, we provide access to some of the most wondrous nature encounters the world has to offer. Many take place in destinations that are wild and remote, with varying physical demands and limited medical facilities. All trips may not be suitable for every traveler. In order to participate in this itinerary, travelers must comfortably and reliably be able to execute all physical requirements as noted below.

Visit six locations over 12-13 days, depending on the itinerary
Some days include extended travel, including a 4.5-hour train ride and two drives of three to four hours by luxury charter bus
2 private chartered flights via helicopter
2 private chartered flights via fixed wing
Travelers must be able to walk at least 3 miles unassisted along uneven terrain
Terrain includes gravel, dirt, pavement, rocky, and sandy paths, frequently on uneven ground
Walks range from 1-3 miles each; travelers should expect 1-5 hours of physical activity daily
For hikes longer than 3 miles, shorter alternatives may be available; longer hikes may be offered for more active travelers in Denali National Park and kayaking is offered on Fox Island
Travelers must walk up and down stairs
Travelers must be accompanied by a guide when in bear territories and are expected to follow safety instructions
Travel by helicopters, bush planes, boats, vans and luxury charter buses
Travelers must have balance and upper body strength to climb in and out of bush planes and helicopters
Not appropriate for travelers using wheelchairs, walkers or canes
Daytime temps range from 40–80°F
Weather can shift quickly between sun and rain
Elevation ranges from sea level to 2,000 feet at Wonder Lake in Denali National Park
