Born and raised in Colorado, Krista developed a love of travel and exploration during family trips throughout the American West. Spending time outdoors from an early age sparked an interest in adventure and meaningful experiences in nature.

Krista attended Ozark Christian College, where she earned a degree in communications with an emphasis on youth development. During college, she spent several summers in Como, Colorado, helping run a wilderness camp for at-risk youth. Working in a remote mountain environment allowed her to mentor young people while gaining experience leading outdoor programs.

After graduating in 2017, Krista began an international career working aboard cruise ships, where she oversaw youth programming and hotel operations. The role combined guest services, leadership and logistics while allowing her to travel extensively around the world. During her time working at sea, Krista visited more than 30 countries, gaining firsthand exposure to a wide range of cultures and destinations. These experiences deepened her appreciation for global travel and the connections it creates.

Today, Krista continues to share her enthusiasm for travel and meaningful experiences in the natural world. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, spending time with family and taking advantage of Colorado summers whenever she can get out on the water.
