Tibetan Fox Facts | Himalayas Wildlife Guide
The Tibetan, or Himalayan, fox is in the same genus as the red fox that is found throughout much of the world, including North America.
This fox is widespread and feeds on pikas, hares and other small prey in addition to scavenging on carcasses.
Foxes are important for controlling rodent populations and, themselves, can become prey for larger predators like lynx, wolves and golden eagles.
