Know Before You Go
Churchill Weather & Climate | Northern Lights Season
During the winter and spring seasons, the days in Winnipeg and Churchill are usually sunny and dry, but EXTREMELY COLD. The average temperature ranges from -27° to 3°F (temperatures can vary and can get as low as -40°F). We limit the time that we are exposed to the weather, but proper clothing and gear are essential for your comfort and safety.
Travelers on our photography trips will experience considerably more time in the cold and snow, since photo opportunities will take place outside during both the days and evenings.
